The First Day



Upon an exquisite impulse, we decided to begin our culinary journey with an impromptu after-work cooking session. We browsed the libraries of Epicurious and stumbled upon a Salmon "bulgogi" with bok choy and mushrooms. We were limited with ingredients so with some "guidance" from the recipe we decided to put our spin on this dish. Here is a list of ingredients we used:

Salmon and Zucchini Chips
Salmon
Marinating Sauce
  • Minced Garlic
  • Brown Sugar
  • Sesame Oil
  • Rice Wine
  • Soy Sauce
  • Hoisin (Hai Xian) Sauce
Zucchini

Oven baked at for 8 minutes and voila!

What a day. As we grow and develop our culinary understanding of food, we realize we start at humble beginnings. We're amateurs, but amateurs with a goal, a passion, for the finer foods in this world. We creatively make do with what we have and make the best with it. Now, all we need are some sweet chef names.
